Tamil Nadu Robotics League-2024
Tamil Nadu Robotics League, India’s biggest Robotics competition organized by Propeller Technologies was held in National College, Trichy on 5th October, 2024. The theme given was “Space Exploration”. This competition is conducted to honour ISRO’s remarkable achievements. Propeller Technologies foster the young minds towards technology revolution and unlock the world of possibilities through ATAL Tinkering Lab. This competition was presided over by Mr. Muruganandan, Rotary International Director and Chairman of Excel Group of Companies, Dr. Kumar K Principal of National College Trichy and Dr. Prasana Balaji Vice-Principal of National College, Trichy.
Around 5,000 students from 350 schools across 5 southern states of India- Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka, and Kerala had presented their projects based on Robotics.
Four teams from St. Jude’s Public School and Junior college participated in this Robotics competition. The senior category comprising seven participants form grade 7 and 8 designed two Robots entitled “HELIO” and “JUDIANS” emerged as second runners up.
HELIO team comprising Jagirt Roy, Adavan Elango and Abishek
JUDIANS team comprising Jegath, Paari, Jai Prithin, and Patthara-Anan accomplished communication establishment task between Earth and Mars.
The Junior team comprising four participants Vikramadithya, Viswaram, Pranav Gowda and Aravindhakshan designed a robot entitled “D-lite” to navigate through the pathway, cleared three obstacles and proceeded to the end position. They were conferred with the title “Emerging Innovators” for their presentation.
All the three teams designed robots that can be operated manually to complete a specified task in a least time. The Senior team known as Tech Masters with Neeraj, Aniruth and Kritsanakorn as participants created a project to design a solution for a social problem based on the theme given.
The students were awarded with trophies and certificates.
