World Food Day
We commemorated World Food Day on October 16th at our school, paying tribute to the Food and Agriculture Organization. It was an enlightening event led by the enthusiastic students of 6A.
The students of 6A raised awareness about the vital role of water through their engaging conversation, emphasizing that "Water is Life, water is food."
They depicted the challenges faced by farmers in their quest for quality produce through a moving dance performance. A spirited debate, an educational food pyramid display, and an energetic farmer's dance added to the excitement of the assembly.
This year's theme underscored the significance of water and its connection to food, while also shedding light on the issue of food wastage.
The students pledged to do their part in reducing waste.
The program was graced by our esteemed principal and additional principal, with our principal delivering an inspiring message on food production and waste. She encouraged all students to be mindful of their water and food consumption.
